THE INSTITUTIONS BEHIND SCAI
SCAI is a project initiated and suported by the Region Capitale Suisse, which comprises the cantons: Bern, Neuchâtel, Fribourg, Soleure and Valais.
The Swiss Capital Region association aims to reinforce the importance of the innovative living and economic area around Bern, Fribourg, Neuchâtel, Solothurn, and Valais.
We are open to collaborations with other research institutes. They can become associate members, participate in research projects and attend scientific committee meetings. Associations and public bodies can also become associate members Contact US if you are interested!

THE FOUNDING PARTNERS
The founding members of SCAI are the Universities of Berne and Fribourg, the Bern University of Applied Science (BHF) and the HES-SO Fribourg.
SCAI was founded as an association in September 2023. The following research institutions are founding members. Each institution is represented by a delegate at the SCAI General Assembly.
