PARLEMENTAIRE: Development of an LLM-RAG for the Federal Parliament
A joint project between SCAI, Swiss AI Center and the Federal Parliament to develop a secure, ethical, and ergonomic ChatBot and virtual assistant for the Parliament.
Objective
Assist parliamentarians in their work, particularly in legislative research and drafting parliamentary objects/initiatives.
Partners
- Initiated and led by SCAI, in collaboration with the parliamentary data service.
- Co-development with the Swiss AI Center
- Involvement of representatives from all parties to ensure an inclusive approach.
Current Situation
- Academic Leads: Jean Hennebert (HES-SO Fribourg) & Hatem Ghorbel (HE-Arc).
- Funding: Parliament Services / Academic Partners.
- Formation of the “beta tester” group of parliamentarians for AI and democracy.
